About the British Red Cross

For 150 years, the British Red Cross has helped people in crisis, whoever and wherever they are. They are part of a global voluntary network, responding to conflicts, natural disasters and individual emergencies. They enable vulnerable people in the UK and abroad to prepare for and withstand emergencies in their own communities. And when the crisis is over, they help them recover and move on with their lives.
Money raised at this year's Fair will fund local emergency response services, will pay for assistance for people returning home from hospital stays, and will provide support to newly-arrived refugees in our area.  All money will be used to fund front line action, and will not be used on administration or fundraising.
Your support for the Fair will help the Red Cross to continue providing support to all who need it in an increasingly challenging and unpredictable world.
If you don't want to shop at the virtual Fair, please consider making a donation to support the Red Cross.  Click here to find out how.

The Bedfordshire Christmas Fair is run by volunteers who are not employees of the Red Cross.  The Fair is run as an 'In Aid of Event' and recognised by the Red Cross, but the charity bears no legal responsibility for the management of the virtual event.
